As a Creative Wellness Coach, I aim to guide my clients toward their own inner strength, resilience, joy, and creative wisdom. I believe everyone has the right and ability to create a fulfilling and meaningful life, and I am here to help you achieve that. I offer a range of expressive art making directives along with yoga/movement and breath work to help tap into the internal wisdom that guides our work together. Using art in life coaching sessions offers so many benefits, such as, encouraging creativity, building self-awareness, promoting mindfulness, stress reduction, and enhanced problem-solving skills! You do not need to be an artist, simply just open to trying. During an expressive art coaching session we focus on the process and materials rather than the product. We might draw, paint, sculpt or knit...each art material can guide us into a deeper sense of knowing and resolution.
Hi! I am Stephanie and I have been working with young people for over 20 years. I have been a registered yoga teacher since 2011 and am a Board Certified and Registered Art Therapist. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in the field of Art Therapy since 2015 and often integrated yoga technology and expressive art making into my sessions to provide increased benefits. As a trained Art Therapist I understand the many qualities of using different art materials and will create intentional art directives that align with the strengths, needs, and goals of each client.
Although we will not be engaging in clinical therapy, I believe my background in psychology and counseling allows me to provide a unique and holistic approach to coaching. I use a strength-based, relational approach to coaching and focus on creating a safe and collaborative space for you to discover what truly works best for you. In coaching sessions we place more attention on present situations and forward movement with strategy and skill building, through self reflection and creativity. As a coach my job is to support your goals, and help uncover your strengths in the areas that may feel most like weaknesses or challenges.
I also offer yoga and meditation practices for those who are interested in a whole body approach to wellness and coaching! It is a unique and creative way to tap into our bodies and mind. When we move our body at the beginning of a coaching session, often it helps release tension and improve clarity, focus, and calm in the art making process. All combined, we find ourselves more fully able to tap into our own wisdom.
I offer one-on-one coaching sessions, group workshops, and parent/child collaborative coaching sessions. Coaching parents and children together is one of my favorite ways to offer support. The sessions are playful and transformative!
Some areas of expertise include stress management, anxiety relief, relationship building, mood balancing, and creative problem solving. I am also currently training in ADHD coaching techniques! Although I have predominately worked with young people over the last decade, I have experience working with all age groups and welcome anyone interested in trying something a little different to break through blocks and thrive in your life!
